1. CLOSURE OF DEMAT ACCOUNT
I opted for closure of my Demat Account with ICICI BANK, and in connection with this, I have submitted an application in the Trichy, court branch in person in the year - 2008; Then I shifted my residence to WADI, GULBARGA DIST, KARNATAKA.
Even now they have not taken any action to close my account; Still they are deducting amount to Demat Services.
Since, opening Demat A/c with ICICI, I have not at all used the services.
While it is their turn for deduction or any other action it happens immediately without notice, If it is ours request goes a long process to contact the customer care and series of calls thats all- no action.
2. CHANGE OF ADDRESS & NON RECEIPT OF ACCOUNT STATEMENT
Similarly, I have submitted an application along with required documents for change of address and request for sending the account statements in May.
Still, I have not received the any Account Statement.
3. DUPLICATION OF DEDUCTION OF ANNUAL FEES FOR DEBIT CARD 2007
I hve visited the bank branch at SRIRANGAM and shown that they have deducted twice for the Debit card in my name and also twice for the debit card in my wifes name within the period of One year during 2006 and also during 2007. I have given an application for reversal of the duplication amount. In connection with this, they have advised to talk to another person regarding the same which I did so. But, tilldate there is no response.
No one takes the responsibility for such things and our lot of effort and money is wasted in phone calls and they simply hang the call and transfer to different persons which is not having any fruitful results even after successive calls. There is no continuity or accountability of such calls and complaints. Customer care becomes customer trouble. It has to be addressed with some accountability and they have to revert back with actions and feedback instead of repeated followup.
This is the case with lot of companies.
