FRAUD COLLECTION AGENCY

I had a credit card (4477463119713002) which I stopped using 4-5 months back. No reasons. We have shifted from our address which was initially registered with you. I haD personally dropped 2 Letters at the ICICI Bank Sahibabad Branch, Kaushambhi, mentioning our New Mailing Address. I have left my job also. The statement used to be mailed to me at my official mailing address. This was also communicated in the letter that I left at the branch. Despite of all these measures... I NEVER EVER recieved a call from the customer service to pay my balance.

Please also be informed that during all these I NEVER changed my LandLine number which was very well registered with you. Customer service could have called me easily.

1. However, I recieved a call from a collection agency on 12th October to pay my outstandings. They came to collect my payment on 26th October and I made a payment of Rs 4719/- IN CASH to the agent named GOVIND who had come from a collection agency named ELEXATE MARKETING PRIVATE LTD OR ELEVATE MARKETING PRIVATE LTD. Below are the details:

AMOUNT - 4719/-

2. I again start recieving calls from the customer service asking me to pay the outstandings...

3. I give them the details and tell them to cancell the card.

4. They tell me that unless they recieve the payment they can not process the cancellation... 7 days after that THEY STILL DO NOT RECIEVE THE PAYMENT.

5. I get a call from the collection agency on 10th NOV asking me to confirm the credit card number as THEY HAD NOTED A WRONG NUMBER...!!!

6. 10 DAYS AFTER THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL DOES NOT GET THE PAYMENT.

7. On 20th Nov I had a word with Sujata at Customer Service (011-41718000) and she registered the complete thing and generaterd an SR - 125272131

8. She also mentioned that I will recieve a call within 6 days and will have my issue resolved.

9. I definitely recieved a call after 5 days... but FOR MAKING A PAYMENT... NOW OF 4981/-...!!!

10. I again repeated my history to some Mr. Neeraj and he very politely updated the SR (at least that's what he said to me on phone)

11. Today, 3rd December I AGAIN recieved a call... AGAIN asking me to make a payment of 4981/- by some Mr. Sunil. On my insistence he gives me a fax number to have the Receipt faxed to him... at 022 66021209...

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSE TO MEAN???

IS IT THE CUSTOMER WHO'S SUPPOSE TO FOLLOW UP??? WHERE IS MY MONEY...??? WHERE IS THE HARD CASH THAT I PAID TO THE FRAUD NAMED GOVIND???

ON 26/10/09 I MADE A PAYMENT AND TILL 03/12/09 CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT RECIEVE IT...???

I WANT THIS TO BE LOOKED INTO IMMIDIATELY AS YOU MAY SEE THAT A CC IS MARKED TO RBI OMBUDSMAN TOO.
