I am disgusted talking to many oficials of ICICI Bank and getting stereo typed replies from the so called relationship managers appointed by ICICI. They don't even understand and listen to the problem but just have to complete a call or complaint at Hand.
I took a home loan from ICICI Bank about four years ago and ever since then no bouncing for 4 years despite the EMI amount and also the number of EMI's (Tenure) going drastically up due tochange in the interest rates. But now when I looked at my statements ICICI Bank has for the last 4-5 months started charging Rs.39200/- as interest on an EMI of Rs.40100/- This is probably done because I had asked for the balance closure value abot 6 months back saying that I am going to SBI Bank.
How can this be done I don't understand by any calculations? In summary I have taken a loan of 39 Lacs and so far paid about 25 Lacs. Balance as per ICICI is still 36 Lacs principle amount and for the last 5 installement the reduction in princliple is just about Rs.900/- only??? X.. I have written to the senior management of ICICI Bank also but no response and rather they have started doing this malpractice... Can you please check this & revert.
Now that I have already paid the full money, this complaint is to get to the root of the issue so that other people are not cheated in the similar way with the unilateral behaviour of ICICI.
ICICI has charged me with full panalty & for closure charges & i have paid them with heavy heart & pain...
