WRONG COMMITTMENTS AT THE TIME OF OPENING ACCOUNTS

Dear Ms. Chanda Kochhar,

At the time of opening my Roaming Current Account No. 037805000014 way back in bank's representative made the following committment:-

" Ithat if I maintain an average quarterly balance of rs.50, 000/- I will not be charged any commission for unlimited number of Demand Drafts / Pay Orders."

I am running a couple of university study centres and am required to get some DDs issued periodically (semester wise). the offer looked impressive and appeared to serve my business purposes, hence I opened the above noted account..However, your Janak Puri branch is always creating hurdles when asked to issue some 20-30 DDs at a stretch.

for last few months I have not been making nay DDs but maintaining the minimum average quarterly balance of Rs.50, 000/- but to my shocking surprise, every month (for last two months my account is being debited by rs.500/- for the reasons not known to me. My calls to your Customer care department could not provide me a convincing answer.

this is also worth mentioning that my several requests for activation of Net Banking facility on this account has not yielded any results so far.
