Hi,
I have taken a mortagage loan from ICICI bank for 11, 50, 000/- on Jan and initially they told me that the EMIs will be for twenty years but later in my amourtization schedule of my loan is showing upto Dec 2039.
Here i have to pay atlease 55, 00, 000 means around 5 times to my actual amount.
I have surprised with that and no option from my side.
And also for the cheque bounce for the EMI amount they have chargred 1500/- and the customer care people updated me that they have chargred this amount for my last 3 years bounce cases. Surprised and looks funny right :) find the customer care mail below

According to our telephonic conversation dated December 28 on 9343831943, we understand that your query has been attended.
According to our records, the Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) for December is returned during the 1st presentation.
If the EMIs are bounced and the payment is delayed, then the bounce and Late Payment Penal (LPP) charges will be applicable.
Please note that the bounce charges are Rs.200.00 plus applicable Service Tax & Surcharge @10.3% and LPP charges are calculated @24%per annum on the EMI amount for the number of days of delay.
The transaction of Rs.55.00 is levied by the Savings Account team whenever any transaction that gets returned.
The debit of Rs. 1, 365.00 and Rs. 13, 283.37 is adjusted towards the Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) due and the remaining amount is adjusted towards the bounce charges, overdue charges.
Statement of Account has the details of all Financial transactions till date.
Please find the enclosed Statement of Account for your easy reference.
We request you to follow the mentioned steps to view your Statement:
Right click on the attachment, select "Open"
You will be prompted to select ' Open the attachment from the current location ' or ' Save it to the disk '
Select the option save to the disk
Double-click on the attachment.
