I had applied for Mediclaim for Winne Correa my mother, age 63. At the time of applying for the same the agent of the company mentioned that there would not be any medical check up for the policy to be issued, thus went ahead with the process. The agent asked me to pay for the same - I made a check of Rs6881 immediately, written in favour of Icicilombardgeneralinsurance. After the application was processed I was informed that my mother would have to go through the medical check, i immediately asked for a refund. Spoke with the contact centre at 02267427478 (Nishant) who mentioned the needful woould be done, later on spoke with the manager of the contact centre as well - Lolita, who confirmed the same. I am awaiting for the refund since then, it has been 25 days, and now those guys are not even answering my calls. I hope this compaint may expedite the process.
