I bought a term plan online in the first week of January'2011 even after completing all documentation in the 3rd week of Jan'2011.They came up in the 3rd week of march'2011 asking for more premium amount (more than double).
In between this, (70 days time) they are not at all bothered to send the status to customer and when contacted them atleat 30 times i was given assurance every time that policy will be issued ASAP and without any additional requirments. Now after 70 days they are asking for more than double premium amount which is totaly absurd.
It was really a WORST experience of my life with ICICI PRU life and i advice every one to keep your self away from this type of company and they should immediately stop there online calculator which is making fool of every one. There Underwriter team reminds me of old fashioned Govt organisation even below that and customer care (I don't know why are they being paid).
I had no word but really this was WORST ever experience with them.
