Income tax refund

Sir,

Refunds of income tax were regularly received here at my residential address B-403, SUMADHUR-II

Apartments, Near Vastrapur Telephone Exchange, P.O.Ambawadi Vistar, Ahmedabad 380015 upto09, furnished in the relative income tax return.

As usual this very residential address is given in my income tax return for the year 10 but I am pained to observe that SBI Contact Centre, whom the job of refund been outsourced to, have sent the refund cheque to my Lucknow address where I was staying during the srevice more than a decade ago. After retirement I am settled here since 2004 at the aforesaid address.

In the circumstances the refund cheque in question has been returned undelivered to the SBI Contact Centre on 6th April and is lying with them.

I shall be glad if you kindly instruct the SBI Contact Centre to remit the refund cheque to me at my above residential address at the earliest.
