Income Tax Returns for the year 2008 not received

I had received a cheque of Rs 3780/- from Income Tax Department, Income Tax Officer (Mr. S.L.Shende) Ward 3 (3) thane, Vardaan Bldg, MIDC, Wagle Estate, Thane as a refund. However the cheque was bearing my savings account details of an account which I had already closed following resignation of my services with the then employer. I therefore could not deposit that cheque and hence returned to the sender (Income Tax Office ward 3 (3), Vardaan Bldg, Thane) with a request to send a new cheque bearing my another savings account number. I had remitted the cheque on 7th December via Vichare courier services. Till today I have not received a new cheque. Kindly look into the matter and expedite. My PAN is AHFPD3974J
