Sir,
I am having ICICI Bank credit card. On 14.01. I received a call from number (08898441497 at 12.22 pm) saying that he is calling from ICICI Bank and bank is offering me new card Titanium and also enhancing limit on card. For that I have to sign a paper and give an ID proof. For which I said yes. I said he would be sending his executive.. said around 4 pm. However the executive called after half an hour (Number 0974826010 at 1 pm) and asked me when to come... I replied around 4 pm.
The executive came to my office with a paper of ICICI Bank and asked me to do the needful. I gave him my ID proof (a copy of PAN card) and sign a paper... he asked me give me the old card.. which I gave him after cutting it into pieces. He said I will get the new card on Monday positively.
Yesterday, that is 15.01. I received two SMS from the number 09869936237, that two transactions have been made on my card number 4477477117808002 on 14.01.2010 amounting to Rs.20980/- and Rs.25890/- at CLOUD 1 INTERNATIONAL. Immediately I called up Customer Care of ICICI Bank (Number-01141718000) and requested for blocking of the card and not honouring the said payment to CLOUD 1 INTERNATIONAL. I informed the phone banking officer that both the transactions are not made by me. It is shear cheating/ fraud done by the person who came to offer me new credit card. The complain number recorded with Customer Care of ICICI Bank is SR 129943302 dated 15.01.2010. The person to whom I talked with ICICI Bank was Mr. Mohd. Khan. He assured me that if you have not made this transaction you need not to worry you shall have not to make any payment. That was a sigh of relief to me.
I shall be highly obliged for controlling of such fraud/cheating with ICICI Bank Customers. A proper inquiry be conducted and payment should not be released to CLOUD 1 International at any cost.
