Compressor not working

I purchased a window a c 1.5tn model LWA5EW1DF1 017060 from Krishna Electronics Unnao UP on 29.07 .2009 but the said ac is not functioning properly on start it become stop i think compressor is not working . i contacted local merchant but he has not given any reponse. one man attended for service few days ago but he did nothing. please arrange immediate service
