NON receipt of cheque given for validation

Dear Concern,

My father had taken a LIC policy (Policy no. 891595533 in the name of Mr. Amir Shaikh). On his sad demise we had recevied the payment from LIC in the name of my mother. As my mother didn't had pan no. & any active bank account, there was some delay in depositing the cheque in bank. Also when the cheque was deposited in the bank, the cheque was lost by the bank. Hence the request was sent to LIC office at nagardas road, andheri east, Mumbai for stoppayment & reissuance to LIC in the month of March. However till today I have not received the payment.

On making enquiry I am always told by Mrs Sandhya Nair (LIC nagardas road, andheri east office, Mumbai) that the cheque will be dispatched with in one to two days. But till today there is no receipt of cheque to me.

Kindly assist for speedy recovery of the funds.
