The following letter was through e-mail and speed post -- no reply was received .till today i.e. 24/05 .

Based on telephonic communication with the officials at LIC office, Chennai on 26th March'2011 I had sent you an application along with original expired cheque for its extension of validity period through "speed post". The cheque had been issued earlier for annuity no. 07H1201052824 in my name (Anupam Mandal).
With regret, I am informing you that till date, I did not receive the cheque or any communication.
Meanwhile I had contacted your office but no satisfactory reply was given.
For for easy reference, I am again furnishing below all the particulars.
You are requested to look into the matter on urgent basis and send new cheque along with the interest accrued due to in-ordinate delay at your end or directly deposit the amount on my HDFC Bank A/C mentioned below with an intimation letter to my home address.
