Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your kind attention that we applied for Housing Loan of Rs 80 lacs in the joint names of myself, Vidhya Darshan and my wife, Pooja on dated 31st March.
I was advised to deposit the first EMI as well as the processing fee, which I did as per below mentioned details:
Cheque No. 43434, ICICI Bank – Amount Rs. 5, 618/- Processing Fees Cheque realized on 03.04.2008
Cheque No 43436, ICICI Bank – Amount Rs. 10, 959/- Part Payment Interest Cheque realized on 10.04.2008
Cheque No 43437, ICICI Bank – Amount Rs. 77, 200/- Against EMI Cheque realized on 07.05.2008
All the cheques were realized by LIC Housing Finance. It may however be noted that the loan was never disbursed.
The relevant details of the loan as per the records of LICHFL are as follows:

Application No. 306335
Total Amount Loan Applied For: Rs 80, 00, 000/-
LICHFL – Lakshmi Insurance Building, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi
Since the loan was neither availed by me nor disbursed to me, the above sums paid by me must be returned.
I have been humbly waiting for a very long time now as I have been given a number of assurances from the persons at the local branch (Asaf Ali Road Branch) that the necessary action would be taken in due course on this matter.
I am so fed up with LIC Housing & un-cooperative executives who have been causing me mental harassment from last 2 years.
I demand above amounts to be refunded with immediate effect with 6% bank rate of interest from 3th April till date.
If there is any further delay in processing the refund, I will then take no time to knock at the consumer court claiming not only justice but the damage charges as well.
Request for an urgent action in this matter from your side.
