I have booked a flat (601-B Tierra) in Casa Univis Project and already paid ~Rs 10L towards instalment and stamp duty registration. Around 3 months back I applied for LIC housing loan and they gave me a preapproved sanction of Rs 40L but after going through all the documents provided by me as well as Lodha Builders, they declined to give the above said loan. The reason as told by LIC agent is that the title of the land is not clear which when reported to Lodha by me, they refused to accept the fact. As a layman it is really difficult for me to understand what is the actual case. LIC has not sofar given me any i writing and also has not returned my cheque of Rs 5500/ which was given by me as a part processing fees. Please provide me the fact in this regard.
