Non receipt of Fixed deposit ammount

I have deposited Rs14000.00 to this co. way back 1996 My folio no 0696039842 dated 23.11.1996, given for redemtion on 24.11.98 since then I've not got any response from the co. Ihave come to know from reliable source that Lloyds finance will pay the money according to law boards directive, but since 1998 I've not got any response from the Co. What should I do.
