By way of this complaint I bring into the notice of the Indian Oil Corporation regarding corruption in Kamdhenu Gas Service, Lukarganj, Allahabad. Previously Khuldabad Gas service, Allahabad has issued gas connections in the name of different persons and those connections were sold to different persons by giving c/o names and refilling was done without any interruption. Thereafter in the year 2005 Kamdhenu Gas Service, Lukarganj has taken agency and all the customers of Khuldabad Gas Service has been registered with Kandhenu Gas Serice who used to supply gas cylinders after respective bookings. But surprisingly enough they gave an oral direction that the customers who have been provided blue-books by the Indian Oil Corporation, in different names shall not be supplied gas on booking and they have to give affidavit on the stamp paper of Rs.20/- with two photographs, and address proof.
The poor customers having no option are submitting forms duly filled enclosing supporing documents, for change of their name and address and for issuing new pass books.
On the printed proforma it is written that Nothing will be charged for issuing new connection or for change of adrress. But the officials sitting in Kamdhenu Gas Service are charging Rs.1250/- and in lieu thereof they are giving one gas pipe only and no receipt is issued in respect of payment of aforesaid huge amount. For this act of corruption there is great resentment amongst the customers.
If immediate step is not taken public at large would be compelled to raise procession agaisnt the Corporation.
