This is regarding a guy named Balaji from NET AMBIT, Chennai office. I have already taken up a policy through Balaji of NET
AMBIT Chennai some months before and recently (November) he called me up speaking to me about a new policy from HDFC
(Sampoorna Samrithi). The information he gave to me was TOTALLY different from the information I read when I received the
policy document from HDFC. When I got this policy information from him initially, as like any other consumer, I was delighted
about the profits I might reap down the lane. Even when I went through the policy details online, and asked him that it is not
the same he told me, he replied, "Sir, it is not still updated sir. Believe me sir, do you think I will even try to cheat you
... we are from NET AMBIT, we are professionals and you will come to know this once you receive your policy document after
taking up the policy".
The only hold they have is, they will ask us to sign the policy documents when taking up the policy, even at times when some
pages in the document will not be filled. I strongly rejected that I cannot sign in this page for now. They said, it is OK for
me to sign and that I will receive the papers as a last minute confirmation prior to sending for processing. But still I
insisted that, I shall wait, you fill everything and then I will sign. Then comes their trick in play... they will come
back again after some days with another set of fresh documents and I signed all the places they asked me to sign confirming
that it was all filled. I was happy that so far everything is good!!!
The day I came to know that I was tricked, is when I received the document and I found that these guys have included some
other pages which contains the main/important information and there I found what looked like my signature. Un-Believable, they
have faked my signature!!! But still I kept my cool and called him and asked about this, he says please wait, I will call
back... I am not in office, I am on the way to office, My kid's not feeling well and I am at hospital, I have an issue with
court due to a family dispute and I will call you back... All the reasons he thought of saying to me... simply fantastic... A
big 'sabaaash' to NET AMBIT guys.
Even after I called him and informed that the details in the policy document are totally contradictory to the one's he
informed to me at the time of taking up this policy, he promises me that I will be getting another policy document (UPDATED)
from HDFC. Since I felt suspicious, I ran into a nearby HDFC LIFE Branch and once I inquired, I confirmed that I have been
given false information by this guy (who claims to be one of a manager of NET AMBIT, CHENNAI).
Thank god, I got the option of withdrawing from this policy of HDFC within 30 days of receiving the policy. I quickly utilized
it and when asked from HDFC LIFE, I told the information that I was given false information from a company to whom they have
outsourced their policy details.
The best part was, after all this chaos, I get a call from another person from NET AMBIT Chennai, named, Pradeep, who informs
me that "Balaji has given false information as he himself was not so clear about the policy details"!!! My question's are: 1.)
If an employee of a financial institutuin like NET AMBIT is not aware entirely of a policy, then who authorizes him to speak
to customers about the policy to make them invest, where the information he gives his wrong. 2.) Even if he was not aware
about the entire information about the policy, despite the fact I told him that the policy document I received was not having
all the information he told and I found out that no benifit for me in this policy, he promises me on his KID, that I got to
believe him. GOOD GRIEF.
This is not just about the person to whom I interacted with, this is about the company NET AMBIT which holds people like
BALAJI. Since these guys interract directly with the customer and make them invest their money into some policy which they
tell all fake things about it, this is a serious matter in concern.
This I am posting here, to create an awareness about this NET AMBIT and their so called professional employee's and be aware
of these guys. They are very tricky and sound very believable!!!
