I made a claim for hospital expense for my wife's medical treatment for Rs.7, 967/- in the month of November. I have still not received the payment till today evn after after 6 months.
Neither the repeated follow up with the Development officer of The New India Assurance nor a number emails to '[email protected] has helped.
The policy number: 1134//09/11/00019408.
I am made feel that I made grave mistake by renewing the same policy in February without knowing at that time that my earlier claim of a small sum of Rs.8, 000 would take indefinite period of time.
This should be an eye opener for others taking decision on Medical Policies.
