I am a small investor in your well controlled Share Market. I have some grievances which I like to place at your kind perusal for necessary redressal.
On 11.02.2011 @ 11.45am I placed order for sell of 1 lot of LICHSGFIN feb future @ 163.75 through my online trading system of Sharekhan.com. But after that nothing showed for confirmation of the order. Then for next 20 minutes I repeatedly checked my order book, trade book as well as the turnover position and Margin Statement, but there was no indication of this trade. I could understand that the trade was not executed. So for rest of the trading session I did not look after it. Now from Sharekhan's evening SMS for trade confirmation it was seen that my order was executed and so I was then at a huge loss due to their system failure. On 14.02.2011 morning, I squared of the position at Rs. 175.00. I asked Sharekhan by mail to protect me from this huge loss as it happened due to their system failure. But Miss Smita from Sharekhan told over phone that they are unable to help me in this regard inspite of the fact that they had system failure. Though they knew that there was system failure, they did not even contacted the customer to inform them about their trade and to save them from looses.
On 18.02.2011 they contacted again and totally ignored their system failure and asked for proof (screen shot) for my complain. They called me 3 to 4 times asking for the incidence again and again, just to lingering the discussion for the reason known to them, without any concrete decision. They even did not send the account closure form as requested. On 19.02.2011 they again sent me SMS for my trade of 14.02.2011.
Sir, by this time on 18.02.2011 sharekhan sold my 30 shares of Sesagoa from my DP Margin balance to make up the debit without my permission.
So I like to request your good offices to take appropriate necessary action for my genuine grievances and to protect me from this financial loss.
My complain has already been placed at your online complain section on 14.02.2011.
