Missing of annuity cheque

Sir,

Ref: Annuity No 011 H 0515078123- Policy No 303775 (Owens Brokeway India Ltd)

I was issued with a cheque dated 15.05.2009 (May be bearing No 60088) for Rs.3982/- towards the annuity for the period from 16.11.2008 to 15.05.2009 and I dropped the same in the ICICI bank drop box.

Since the amount was not credited to my account for long time, I approacched the bank and they told that no such was received by them. As I dropped in the drop box, I am not in possession of counter foil and assumed that the cheque may be missed in transit.

Hence, I requested your good office through 2 letters on 21.10.2008 and 04.01.2010 to issue afresh cheque for the same amount.

Now once again request your good self to look in to this mater and to issue a fresh cheque please.

In case if the cheque was realised and debited to your account, you may please feel free to communicate the same to take up the case with bank.
