Job seekers defrauded by fake families

Greetings,

AuPair.com is a legitimate company online, however, they have not taken care to protect their own Job Seekers (Nannies, Housekeepers) who register with them. There are many cases of Job Seekers being contacted by a fake family, using fake photos and invited to come to the UK (and other countries) to work.

After a short period of short e-mails and fake phone information, the candidate is told their Visa will be ready soon and they must show X amount of money will be coming with them. They are asked to submit a photocopy of a bank draft to their family barrister/attorney. They are soon after contacted and told the money needs to be sent to the family barrister to HOLD for their use when they arrive to their new family. Since most of the Job Seekers do not read or speak fluent english, they do not benefit from any security warnings posted. It took only one visit to the site to see the same family photos posted multiple times under different names, cities, and help requests. Indians and Nepalese have been especially targeted.

Please spread the word. Thnx, Cybrdetect2000
