I work for an IT industry in Mumbai. I am one of the millions of employees/job seekers who have their resumes uploaded on monster.com or naukri.com. Thereby expecting calls from many Recruitment agencies.
But, today (22/12) has been an unsual day for me. I received a call from Focus management Chennai branch, early in the morning informing me that there is a requirement (which they claim as a COLLABORATIVE recruitment drive), in a XYZ MNC, which suits my profile. I explained the guy my concerns for not attending the recruitment drive for that particular Employer. Ten minutes later I got a call from Focus management again, this time someone else on the other side of the call. Repeating my previous behaviour, I expalined my concerns this time as well and hung up the phone. But this did not stop the Focus management team from calling me and torturing with a frequency of 10 CALLS/HOUR. Till now I have received at least 30-odd calls from the Focus management team. In all I answered about 6 calls. The rest of the calls which i did not answer, I was able to make out that those calls were from focus mgmt, as I had few of their numbers previously saved in my phone.
This is really sick behaviour from the Focus team. I discussed this with few of my colleagues and even they had the same story ot share.
Can something be done against this mentally torturous act of Focus Management?
