This is regarding the complaint against an organization named OASIS SOFTWARE (www.oasissoftwareinformatics.com). I am a B.Tech. graduate of 2009 batch. I was placed in this organization on 27 Jan. through a campus placement drive in my college in my 8th semester.
The terms and conditions of the contract were that I would be 'Software Trainee' in the organisation and would be offered a package of 2.2 lakhs per annum and was supposed to join on 24th Sep.. The offer letter was duly signed by Mr. S. Syed Salahuddin (HR Head). Later it was communicated to us that our joining date was postponed to 2nd Nov. and were supposed to join in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
We were also asked to deposit Rs. 11, 603 in the name of the company towards "verification charges".
But on our joining on 2nd Nov. it was revealed to us that we wont be paid any salary during the training period which comprised of 3 months. After 3 months we would be under payroll of the organization and would be offered the salary as promised during the campus placement drive (Rs. 2.2 lpa). However during the training period we would be paid incentives per month which would amount to Rs. 3000 addons based on our performance. At the time of joining, we also had to submit our original marksheets of engineering which is completely illegal.
I worked in the organization from 2nd Nov. - 22 Feb. but was not paid a single penny towards incentives in those 4 months. We were also declined any work experience letter on our leaving the company. As they had taken our orginal marksheets we were unable to file any complaint when we were in the organization. Almost 55 trainees joined in the 2nd Nov. batch and almost all of them left the organization by 22 Feb.. All of them had paid Rs. 11, 603 towards verification charges before joining and everyone had to return back without any salary/ incentive or even work experience letter.
Moreover the company is still hiring a large number of students from North India and it charges Rs. 1 15000 towards verification charges from all of them before offering them joining dates. But they do not have any intentions of paying the trainees anything making both the further stay of the trainees unfeasible and putting their future under question. They create such circumstances that the trainee themselves get compelled to leave the organisation and I was one of them. The HR of Oasis Software, Mr. S. Syed Salahuddin (also the Hiring Coordinator who visits various campuses for placements), is making a huge money for the company through these verification charges.
I kindly therefore request you to initiate action against this firm Oasis Software (Register Office @ 13/19, Municipal Colony, Kangenellur Road, Gandhi Nagar, Vellore, Tamil Nadu) so that they stop playing with the future of students.
