Name of organization: Oxfam India,

1, new community centre, New Delhi

Oxfam trust,

B-121, Malviya Nagar

They raise funds for Swati project of Kushawah trust which is in RK Puram Sec-12 DPS School. The same project is sponsored by an other organisation. Annually Oxfam gives about Rs. 8 lac to this trust for this project. In the annual report of project it is mentioned that only around 50 students were enrolled in this project last year. And this project is ogoing since 1992. If any day this site is visited not a single student would be found there.

Oxfam take money from people 1200 per child for learning material and people over there working as teachers themselves said when asked that they don't provide any books or notebooks to children.

Whenever it gets important for them to arrange project visit for someone, they simply make new batches just a week ago. And when you ask why there is not regular dates on notebook they will give you a no of fabricated reasons.

And most ironical of all, Oxfam raises the funds for the same SWATI project to which it gives 8 lac anually from individuals as well as corporates. every month only delhi office collects more than 15 lac for the same project (for 50 studdents!!). They have collectd huge amount of funds. And these are definitely not utilized properly.

They just need a cause to market it. For eg recently they are also asking for the funds in the name of Haiti earthquake.

CEO Nisha Aggarwal of Oxfam owns many houses in Delhi. Directors, Managers get lavish pays. If this organisation is capable to give such kind of pay to its employs why does it enjoy 80 G benefits.

I am a fund raising executive there and i have witnessed a new year party where they spent a lot of money on liquor and booked whole resort, which might have cost them more than one lakh. How can an NGO bear such kind of expenses. Their fund raising Manager Devendra Mishra always travel by airplane. their people always stay in Five star hotels.

This organisation should be blacklisted and should not be allowed to visit colleges for campus placement because students are not shown the real picture at the time of placement and later are forced to such a job of fund raising by sneaking into buildings and raising funds. The target is 5 times the pay. If we are unable to meet the targets we are not given the pay.

Please take an action immediately to expose this fraudulent organization.
