NR Rly, Delhi are considering our TDR refund for train running late as cancellation at the last moment and so have paid only 50%. Ticket details are as under.

Railways have paid 50%, perhaps because on the journey ticket, departure time of train from Kota was written as 12Noon which later was changed to 7AM.

Fact is that 12Noon was suiting us better because my daughter Neha had her onward journey for Chicago by a flight checking in at 9PM from Delhi. Therefore, If the train had been late by even 5-7 hrs, we would have preferred to travel by it and still got the flight. But when we were told by railway inquiry No.139 that it was running 11 hrs. late and was expected to reach Kota by 6PM, she was sent to Delhi by road and was able to catch her flight. Actual arrival of train at Kota was 6PM and Neha would have missed her flight if she had waited for the train. Neha's air ticket details are pasted here for your persual.
