Charging Service Tax on Credit/Debit card transaction

Hi,

My name is Dhishankar and recently i booked a Fiat Linea with Concorde Motors. I applied for a loan and after all payments there was a shortfall of Rs 14000/- which i decided to pay by card. I was informed that there is a service tax of 1.5% on all card transaction. When i enquired with the bank, they dont its illegal and they cannot charge any service tax within the city. Also i was told by bank to get a separate slip for the service tax amount, which the showroom refused.

There should be some means of checking these illegal transactions. God knows where these sums of money are going.
