Today (24.05.2011) I had booked a Call Taxi for people to go and come back. The start time was 12:00 noon and the end time was 4:15 . The vehicle was a Non-A/c Omni.
The starting K.M reading given was 48455 and ending is 48502 (cant say how far that is correct.. neways). Total 52 kms and time 4:15 mins. The people who went were asked to pay Rs. 670/- and they have paid already. The did not want to call Fast Track or argue with the driver etc.
When i called Fast Track Call taxi on their number 2473 2020 they were not co-operative and when i asked justification for the rate. FIRST THING THEY SAY SAY WHY DID YOU NOT CALL US BEFORE PAYING.. A SUPERVISOR ALSO SPOKE ON THE PHONE. If I was loud on the phone, she was trying trying to shout louder that me also telling me that it was OUR FAULT NOT THEIRS.
If they dont want to listen to complaints or Over charge rates.. Why run such a Taxi Service then. They are interested in getting the money but they do not want to deal with complaints. If we are over charges its OUR PROBLEM. The question asked is.. WHO ASKED YOU TO GIVE? WHY DID YOU PAY IN THE FIRST PLACE WITHOUT ASKING US?
There is no Question of. WHY IS YOUR DRIVER OVERCHARGING ME? WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT?.
Sorry.. They want only customers and money... U PAID MORE ITS YOUR FAULT.
I asked the Supervisor how it could be so much.. She says First it was a Rs. 500/- 40 kms plan. Suppose time increases it will go to 5 hrs 50 kms plan of Rs. 600/-
and then the additional 2 Kms of Rs. 10/- each.. so the bill should have been Rs. 600 Rs.20/- (2kms)= Total should have been Rs. 620/- and How 670/-.. When we ask this immediately the answer is Why did you pay without asking us.. MY PRIMARY QUESTION IS WHY WAS THE RATE MANIPULATED.. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE CORRECT RATE..
