This is not a complaint actually I just want to inform people how this Agent at Bandra Terminus cheat Passenger Travelling...
On 6th March I was so happy and excited to see my new born baby and hence I planned to reach Rajasthan asap, I didn't mind to travel even in unreserved compartment. It was 2.45 p.m. and train departure was around 3.00 p.m. Raunakpur Express I was just about to remove ticket and this agent came up to me and offer me reserved ticket upto my destination and told me he will charge 200 Rs.. I was in intention it will be around 500-600 Rs for ticket atmost. I said fine but ticket will be confirm and he replied "mujpe bharosa karo aapko ticket confirm dunga". I trust him and paid him 500 bucks and after 10 mins just before train departure he bring two ticket one ticket was reserved upto SURAT (Confirmed) and 2nd ticket was unreserved upto FALNA (waiting), and he asked me to pay total amount of Rs. 1400/-. I was bit surprised and told him "ek toh ticket waiting hain aur tu itna charge kar raha hain mein nahi duga itna paisa". After long argument he said "trust me yeh ticket confirm hogi surat se 59 number seat hain aur uske baat ek number badega 60 number ho jayega". Train was about to leave and I was tired and have no option, finally decided to pay him 1200 but I was sure it will not be confirmed. When I entered train there were many people who was cheated like that and finally in evening when I reached surat TC confirmed its not reserved and told me why u people buy ticket from them. Why Police allow this people to do such business??? really don't understand. Please take action against them.
After such experience, I understood not only agents are cheater but also some people in railways are also corrupt. There is so much fraud and cheating cases in mumbai god knows what will happen to people like us.
