First of all I got the appointment after 18 days that is 1st July'10 which was ok considering that you have only one service station left in Mumbai. Now when I went there I told them about the normal issues that I am facing with the car. Your technician Mr. Prathemesh told me that I will get the car by evening. When I went there in the evening to get my car he told me there is still some work pending and asked me to come on 2nd July afternoon.
Finally when I called him up on 2nd July around 11:00 AM to inquire about the status of my car I was shocked to know that battery of my car had malfunctioned at your service centre due to some short circuit. The car when given for servicing was perfectly alright atleast as far as battery is concern that I can make out by my experience of driving cars for last 12 years. As in last three years that I have been driving this car it has never once stopped due to battery discharge or the lights have dimmed, horn was perfectly all right, AC is running smoothly.
So I went to the service station where Mr. Ryan Gonsalvis (service manager) asked me to pay for the battery. This was totally unacceptable to me as why should I pay for any defects caused due to negligence of your people.
I have left my car at the service center only and I don’t have time to visit it again and again so just mailing you to help me out with this on urgent basis as I want my car back by tomorrow afternoon at any cost.
Or else I will be forced to lodge a FIR tomorrow and take it to the court for mental and physical harassment.
Also if anything happens to me or my family while driving in this car which now has a potential danger of short circuit it will be a total responsibility of General Motors, India as this fault has been generated by your unskilled technicians.
We met the Vice President - Yatin Desai of Ashtavinayak Auto on 3-JUl-10, who assured that we would get the car on 6-Jul-10 but till date he is buying time.
Pathetic state of affairs and all false promises.
