I want to make the complaint against the following persons:-
(1) Mr. Vikram Arora, having address at Hallmark Auto Solutions, Shop No.1, Bldg. No.3-B, Shantidham CHS Ltd., Off Mahakali Caves Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400 093;
(2) Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar of Hallmark Auto Solutions / Topgear Auto Mart, having address at Hallmark Auto Solutions, Shop No.1, Bldg. No.3-B, Shantidham CHS Ltd., Off Mahakali Caves Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400 093; and
(3) Mr. Akash Bhor, Manager, HDFC Bank Ltd., Trade Star, J.B. Nagar, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400 093.
Mr. Vikram Arora introduced himself as the proprietor of Hallmark Auto Solutions and further stated that he is DSA of HDFC Bank Ltd. and promised that he would arrange delivery of cars faster than other dealers and he also arranges finances from HDFC Bank against the cars as and by way of finance to be repayable in instalments.
Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar, who is an associate of Mr. Vikram Arora, had constantly followed up and called upon us and they have submitted quotations and proforma invoices for the car. Believing their representations, I have booked a Vento Highline vehicle. Both Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar have given me a quotation dated 05.04.2011 wherein they have stated that the amounts to be financed by HDFC Bank shall be Rs.7, 50, 000/- and asked me to make payment of Rs.2, 21, 660/- as down payment. Accordingly, I paid an amount of Rs.2, 21, 660/- by cheque in the name of M/s. Topgear Auto Mart.
Subsequently, on or about 13.06. both Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar informed that the approved loan was only for Rs.7, 18, 000/- and asked me to pay the difference amount of Rs.31, 540/-. Accordingly I paid further amount of Rs.31, 540/- on 22.06.2011. Thus I paid total amount of Rs.2, 53, 200/- to them.
Thereafter Mr. Akash Bhor of HDFC Bank informed me that the loan amount of Rs.7, 18, 000/- was sanctioned and the payment was made to the dealer viz. M/s. Global Gallarie Motors Pvt. Ltd., Yogesh Compound, Opp. Durgesh Park, Kalher, Bhiwandi, Dist. Thane. However, when I enquired with the said Global Gallaries Motors Pvt. Ltd. they informed me that the amount of Rs.2, 53, 200/- was not paid by the said Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar and, therefore, they could not deliver the vehicle to me.
I have also informed HDFC Bank Ltd. and made the complaint against Mr. Akash Bhor and others and the Bank informed that the matter is under investigation.
Upon making enquiries with the said Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar they informed me that they would resolve the matter and, however, no payments were made by them either to me or to Global Gallarie Motors Pvt. Ltd. or to the Bank.
Subsequently, I came to know that the said Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar, in collusion and conspiracy with Mr. Akash Bhor of HDFC Bank defrauded and cheated many other innocent people and swindled about Rs.50 lakhs and odd from about ten to twelve people. It is possible that the said Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar, in collusion and conspiracy with Mr. Akash Bhor of HDFC Bank, cheated many more innocent people and it requires a thorough investigation.
Subsequently, it has also come to my notice that Mr. Akash Bhor of HDFC Bank Ltd. was earlier working with Reliance Consumer Finance Ltd. and at that time he also cheated many others in collusion and conspiracy with Mr. Vikram Arora and Ms. Prajakta Chendvankar.
It is humbly request that complain please be registered against the aforesaid accused persons & appropriate and necessary action be taken so that we can save other innocent people from getting trapped.
