This is to inform you an inappreciable practice from the side of employees by a corporate.
I am a trainee company secretary from Changanacherry. Today [7/8] my Esteem went to breakdown at Cherthala by 1:30 p.m.on a travel. I tried to contact the Maruthi Service center in Alleppey District several helpline numbers, but I got connected only by 3:30 pm. I were compelled to wait for the mechanics till 7:30 pm.
It was just a minor mistake. They just replugged the fuel pump plug under the rear seat and sucked petrol from fuel pipe connected with the engine.
I were ready to pay what the company charges for the service. They charged me a sum of Rs.500 /-. But the most worse thing was that, they doesn't gave me any receipt for the road side assistance, even after waiting for their "great service" for a long waiting period of 4 hours.
I repeatedly asked them to give receipt for their service . but they refused to give any receipt for the service. " Is this a proper way for a road side assistance service, that too from a reputed Maruthi Dealer??? "
The service persons Name were Arun & Xaviour. I reported my breakdown through the helpline no.9847040743 & they contacted me back from the no. 9495494409.
My relatives sought road side assistance from Maruthi in Palakkad & Ernakulam a few months back, but they were not charged by Maruthi for breakdown service. Please let me know whether breakdown service by maruthi is chargeable or not?
If the billing procedure is as mentioned by the service persons, please make arrangements to get me copy of the bill. Its a request. If it is not possible please inform me the matter, so that I could collect it from the service station.
Being a corporate professional, I believe its my duty to inform HERCULES AUTOMOBILES INTL. (P) LTD, the fraud practice adopted by the employees. I request you to let me know whether the procedure adopted by the employees is as per Company norms.
