Sub: Knietic Nova Delux 135cc model 2004. (RJ-02/12M-0649)
I had brought a Nova on Dt. 4/02 from m/s Darshana Automobiles your dealer at Alwar in the exchange policy on payment of Rs. 37558/-.
We had regularly got our scooter serviced by your dealer and also if there is any minor problem it’s also attend by your dealer staff (i.e. Darshana Automobile). But on dt. 1/11 scooter had developed some critical technical problems i.e. engine sucks whole engine oil, due to this my scooter sized, I went to Darshana Automobiles but they informed me that your dealership had transferred to m/s Bajrang Kinetic so I visited there and ask them to see to my problem and repair it and I paid sum of amount Rs 2748/- on dt.10 /11 to Bajrang Kinetic. And they ask me to get engine oil changed 60 day and followed same and paid them sum of Rs. 375/- on dt. 29/01.
But, again after four months i.e. on 20/05 again my scooter got seized due to same problem once again I visited to Bajrang Kinetic as to get it repaired and paid Rs 1446.75/- on dt.28/05 for this problem. Then again after approx 45 days I get my scooter’s engine changed and paid Rs 180/- on dt. 16/06.
Recently again my scooter got seized, once again I visited to Bajrang Kinetic. They informed me that Knetic had merged in Mahindra and Mahindra, so I need to contact your new dealer m/s Suraj Automobile, Alwar. When I visited there, in place of listening my problem and solving it without even looking to its engine they said that you should change this scooter when I ask them that I don’t want to change it, in place please repair it they started talking harshly but when I kept stuck on my point of getting my scooter repaired they give estimated cost of Rs. 8000/- without even touching the scooter and start misbehaving me. Then I ask then to call either their manager or owner, on very request they call their manager. Mr. Manager came in very aggressive way straight away told me, ” we are not bound to provide service to Kinetic customer we can only sell our Mahindra products. Hum yaha tumhare scooter sahi karne ko nai baithe naya kharidna hai to bolo otherwise jaha se kharida hai waha le jao. Take it to Bajrang or Darshana Automobile; we are not responsible for providing service to Kinetic customer, go to hell”. I asked his him that when Mahindra and Kinetic got merged up its your responsibility to take care of this scooter. On this he fired and said, ”jo karna hai kar lo mujhe parwa nai hai in chijo ki”.
As I’m a lawyer by profession I think it’s my moral responsibility to tell you these things that when any company take over or merge up with other company it’s the responsibility of mother company to take care of the products that had sell by their merger company along with their customer in any part of India, you cannot leave your product like this. And it’s your dealer fault or your technical staff fault that they cannot find out what’s the problem in my scooter, when I always contact your dealer whenever my scooter got seized.
And they behave me in this manner how can we ladies contact to your service center whenever scooter goes wrong. We visit these dealers or service center because they are your representatives here.
And one more thing my scooter is standing at Suraj Automobile and I’m suspected that they may replace my original parts or ………., if any such thing found that will entirely there and company responsibility. I strongly request you to see to this matter personally. Otherwise I have to look to Consumer Court.
