For the past one week I am trying to open IRCTC Website to book ticket to Mumbai from Chennai under Tatkal the site become unresponsive between 7.45 onwards with the reason unable to book tatkal ticket. It only opens when all tatkal ticket are booked and always show WL status. This is ridiculous. I even went to station early morning, as early as 5.30 AM to get the ticket.By 8.05 it was showing WL. I have an emergency to visit mumbai to see my sister-in-law who has heart problem plus now her legs have gone numb and unable to move. I have been able to book offpeak season or times when I need to travel the very next day. This is not only my problem but being face by several people. Why and how such problem start when peak season come. Why the site get blocked during Tatkal booking time and opens when all the tickets are gone and that to within 5 mins the site opens. How can any who has to travel on emergency can book ticket. Can anyonw answer and take appropriate action. 24 hors custamare care also do not attend call immediately and when attended just give email id to send mail. What is the solution for such situation.
