I HAVE BEEN TRYING FROM TODAY (11.05.2011) MORNING 08:00 HRS TO 11:04 HRS TO BOOK A TICKET TO TRIVANDRUM FROM CHENNAI IN TATKAL FOR 13.05.2011. SO FAR I COULD NOT MAKE IT. WHEN I CALLED UP THE CHENNAI CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER 044-25300000 THE TELEPHONE WAS CONTINUOUSLY RINGING NOBODY PICKED UP. WHEN I CALLED THE DELHI CUSTOMER CARE NO. 011-39340000 THE EXECUTIVES SAKSHI AND SACHIN INFORMED ME THAT THE IRCTC ARE ONLY THE MEDIATORS AND THE RESPONSIBILITY IS RAILWAY'S. THEY SUGGESTED ME TO GO TO THE COUNTER AND BOOK AS IF I DO NOT KNOW. FOR THIS ANSWER WHY THERE SHOULD BE A CUSTOMER CARE AND SALARY PAID FOR THEM. IF IRCTC CANNOT GET THINGS DONE FROM RAILWAYS WHY SHOULD THEY UNDERTAKE THIS. THEY CANNOT SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.
