I met with an accident on 9th Feb while I was on my Pulsar 200, purchased second hand few weeks back. My bike was dropped at Khivraj motors situated in indira nagar, bangalore. After the insurance surveyor the service center on 18th Feb, they said my bike would be worked upon and delivered on Tuesday (22nd Feb). It was delayed everyday and bike was finally delivered on 28th Feb (After making me wait for an hour at their service center while they fixed some parts). At that point, they said that the bike's battery can no longer be used, but when i gave the bike to them, battery was working properly with no issues. I told them i'll get the new battery next day, while i asked them for a stand by battery to take the bike with me. When i took the bike, i noticed it was in poor condition with throttle opened too much, handle bar not fitter properly. I went there next day (1st march) to collect the bill and get a the new battery replaced. I was charged Rs 5400 . When i saw the bill, it showed new parts worth Rs 2800 and, labor charges Rs 2550. They added labor charge for each part separately, and added Rs 450 for accident job. On inquiring, i was rudely told that parts which were damaged and replaced in accident were charged together for that price, but same parts had separate labor charges as well, and nobody listened to me. On taking the bike back, i realized that my fuel indicator is not working, Front left indicator is not working, and the "clean air filter indicator" on speedometer is blinking, which shows bike was not even serviced properly. So after paying a hefty sum of Rs 5400, i will have to go to the service center 3rd time to get my bike ready. They damaged (or replaced) my battery and I had to pay Rs 1600 to buy a new one. And They charged Rs 2550 as labor charges, with no explanation. Please help me in this regards and suggest me a course of action so that other people do not suffer because of their such behavior.
