Sub: Cheating and Forgery by one person who claimed to be Amit Kumar, Enquiry Executive in Kingfisher Airlines with office at Cabin No. 115, 1st Floor, Terminal -3, IGI, New Delhi-37
Sir,
I am to state as under:
1. One person who introduced himself as Amit Kumar and claimed to be working as Enquiry Executive in Kingfisher Airlines with office at Cabin No. 115, 1st Floor, Terminal-3, IGI, New Delhi-37, approached us and offered his services for providing air tickets of Kingfisher at our doorstep. He also claimed that since he is an Executive in Kingfisher Airlines, he will provide us discount on ticket booking.
2. Since Mr. S.S. Bhasin, Director of our Company had to go to Jammu on 05.06.11 alongwith his family, I asked Amit Kumar on 03.06.11 to provide tickets from New Delhi to Jammu for 5 persons and return tickets for 2 persons from Jammu to New Delhi.
3. Shri Amit Kumar came to our office at 6th Floor in Le Meridian on 04.06.11 at about 12.15pm alongwith an E-Ticket of Kingfisher Airlines from New Delhi to Jammu and return ticket from Jammu to New Delhi as mentioned above and asked for payment of Rs. 30, 000/- for the same. I offered him the payment through Bank account but he insisted that since he has to deposit the money immediately, he will like to receive in cash. On his request a cash of Rs. 30, 000/- was paid to him on 04.06.11.
4. When I tried to block the booked seats in respect of the above tickets on phone, I was informed that the e-tickets are forged. I immediately tried to contact Shri Amit Kumar on the mobile phone no. 9990880724 provided by him in his visiting card but no response came nor is coming.
5. A photocopy of the forged E-ticket provided by Shri Amit Kumar and the visiting card given by him is enclosed.
6. A CCTV footage recorded on our CCTV showing his footage while visiting our office at 6th Floor, 615-618, Le Meridian Commercial Tower, Raisina Road, New Delhi-110001, to hand over the e-tickets and receive the payment is also enclosed.
In this connection, we have already lodged a complaint vide complaint no. DD-26B -09.06.2011 with Police Station, Parliament Street, New Delhi.
Since Amit Kumar, apparently a conman, is cheating the people in the garb of being an Executive of Kingfisher Airlines and might have done it on a number of occasions with a number of people, you are requested to take necessary steps as you deem fit.
Thanking You
Rajesh Mishra (Advocate)
