Mahindra Motors
Rusting in Mahindra Logan

Dear Sir,

I had complained six months back for rusting and requested change of body shell, but i was assured that threre is nothing wrong in the metal thing, problem is off paint only, it will not be repeated in future.

But after six months again same thing started, rusting again started developing in my mahindra logan car.

I have decided that if i will not get permanent solution this time i am going to approach consumer forum and wants to file a complain there.

Dear Mr. Mahaveer,

As per our discussion & mutual agreement during the last meeting, we had decided to do the required paint job on the affected area of your vehicle. Moreover, we had also agreed to repair the externally damaged body parts (accidental) of your vehicle on purely goodwill basis.

We can assure you that the required work on your vehicle would be of good quality and as per the standard processes.

Also, the insurance policy is not required for repairing the rusted parts but would be required for repairing the externally damaged parts.

We expect your sincere co-operation in this matter so that we can close the same as soon as possible to your satisfaction.

Dear Mr. Navendu,

I still awaiting your reply, i want to put up my car for work as soon before the problem gets bad to worse,

But before that i wanted assurance from your side that after doing these work these should not happen again in this luxury car, plus i expect that using insurance for the above cause does not viable, where the problem seems arisen due to manufacturing fault, as i stated earlier, it doubts the material of metal used for making body of the Logan Car.

Awaiting your reply as soon as possible.

Dear Mr. Navendu,

As we discussed earlier and mentioned below in your mail, the solution advised at present is not a permanent solution as per my thinking, i appreciate your effort in taking care of the damage/fault being developed in this luxury car.

But my perception was that this should not develop at all in this type of Car, there must me some default in material used, and it doubts the quality of metal being used to make Mahindra Logan.

Whatever solution provide by you, i accept but kindly ensure that this is not an on-going process, as i expect a permanent solution of this problem.

Dear Mr. Mahavirsinh,

This refers to our meeting with you at Punjab Automobiles on 20th March along with our experts from Nashik Plant.

After thorough inspection & our later discussion, we had come to the mutual understanding that the repair work of the affected parts of your car would be done in the 1st week of April (as per your convenience) at Punjab Automobiles. Also, few portions of your car which were externally damaged, would repaired on FOC basis (for which we would require your insurance policy). Also, your car would be treated with the paint protection treatment after the repair work.

Hence, request you to kindly inform our dealer few days in advance when you plan to take the vehicle for necessary work.

Subject: Mahindra Logan

Dear Sir,

I am Mahavirsinh Mandora from Ahmedabad, A proud owner of Mahindra Logan, I was thinking since long to write-up something good and positive about Mahindra Logan, and wanted to share my experiance with all on Networking sites Facebook and Orkut and that sort.

But unfortunately i have set down to writeup a complain regarding rusting being devloped in my Luxury car since last 8 months back, initialy it shows like a spot type on the body and grdualy it gets devloped all over, i was shocked seeing this when i seen first time, Soon i complained to the dealer from where i had purchased (Mahindra Punjab on S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad), Mr. Vaghmare from your office had visited and given just a temporarty solution of removing the corrosion and painting that part.

I was not happy with the service as it was not the permanant solution, first of all i was not expeting this type of things from Mahindra make Vehicles, We are customer of Mahindra & Mahindra since 1985, since then till date We have your Tractors, Jeep and other Vehicles.

Since a rough vehicle like tractor which is being used in farm and lying in rains and that sort, it does devlope rusting or corrosion, how it can be developed in such a Luxury car.

Myself i am a patient of Blood Cancer, these car is used only from my home to Doctors Visit and from there to home. Not any regular outings.

As i stated earlier Mr. Vaghmare from your office had advised and action temporary solution of removing the stain and painting that part, But corrosion is being devloped inside from the body, we can not make it from outside, when it gets developed large we can see the small stain being developed outside.

I expect your good sefl to address this issue to some senior guy, who can see and provide me the permanant solution, and if its not possible i expect body change.

As these type of things must not be developed in such a luxury car. My vehicle details are as follows, Awiating a reply from your side.
