This is to inform you on good faith that I Biswanath Sarkar am a dissatisfied and cheated customer of MARUTI TRUE VALUE of Maruti Udyog Ltd. Company. Why? The full story is below mentioned in details;
I have bought a WagonR (Color pea silver, no DL9C M5811, make2005) from Maruti True value M/S AAA Automobiles Vasant Kunj on 28.3.2010 with not a single % discount and three years Finance from HDFC Bank at RS.2, 87, 000 (inclusive Intetrest, 2, 40, 00 principal amount). At the time of purchase it was offered to me that 3 free service and one year warranty in AC system and Engine and with Local made battery named BINDAL.
On 2nd month in my first long drive from Delhi to Agra I have faced two problems.
One is in the right mirror which was loose at the time of purchase, I have complained them they put one small nut and told it is ok, but the problem was remain same, now today I have change from Competent Work shop in Mehrauli by Rs.400.
Second problem is in overtake pass light switch which is totally not working and informed them but they told that it is not in warranty you have to rectify by your own cost which is cost Rs2500 from workshop which is not done by me yet.
In the 3rd month some noises has started to come from silencer, I have complained them they simply have told to consult workshop, I have consulted to workshop and it has come to know that this problem cannot be repaired, simply the silencer is to be change which is not covered under Insurance and warranty and it is cost of RS. 5500 which is not done by me yet.
In the 4th month again I have faced problem in 2nd long drive from Delhi to Sirsa, when I was coming back with my family AC was started not working. Every one hour driving is become trip off. I have consulted to AAA they again simply told that what can we do, your AC is under Warranty, go to workshop and rectify it. I have gone to Competent Workshop Mehrauli on today (4.9.10), they given me the estimate of Rs. 6000 and I have told to Rectify the problem and have asked them they told that it is required servicing which is not covered under Warranty so you have to pay. So I am unable to understand what type of warranty for one year for AC had offered me at the time of purchased which has no use and what type of AC is given which is stop working properly within 4 months. So I feel somehow again I am cheated from Maruti True value and it is the blunder on my faith on MARUTI TRUE VALUE.
In the 5th month I have faced another problem and that is again blunder to my faith on Maruti True value i.e. my car with full family at the time 8.30pm was stop on middle of road and I was unable to start further. I have call CROSSROAD to start the car and reached my residence. Next day I have gone to AAA, they have told to take the car at their shop (they know that my car is on breakdown) then only they can do any thing.
Then I called Maruti help line service and paid Rs110/-(again come to know that free visit only applicable for new car not for a foolish customer like me) and it has come to know that my car battery which was in the car from the time purchase is Local and fully exhausted named BINDAL, and the person told me that replacement is only solution. At that time I have talk to AAA concerned person and he simply denied to do anything and told me that JAHA MARJI COMPLAIN KARNA HAI KAR DO. Next day it was holiday (Janmashtami) but me and my wife gone to shop and talk to the concerned person and he told to come tomorrow. Next day we have visited the shop at 12o’clock, he told to talk at 2:30 pm. At 2:30 pm again I have called him he again started pressurize on me to come at shop with car (break down position known to them) then he can discuss further. I have requested him to come to my parking which is hardly 800mt from the shop but he simply denied. Then again I have called COSSROAD and take my car to shop along my wife. I have requested him to change the battery but they told that they will check it at their own vehicle and then tell me what will be done. I have requested him to change the battery at my choice; the extra cost will be paid by me. In response I have got a word from them that YEHAPE FERMAISH NEHI CHALTA and HUMNE ABHITAK BATAYA NEHI that the battery will be replaced. After that they have tried 100times to prove that my attitude is rough, it is my fault, battery is OK only water is not in the battery, you should be more careful at the time of purchase (One gentle man from Maruri was present in the shop), you accepted it at the time of purchased so you cant asked for replacement. Then I have discussed the concerned person from MARUTI and told him that we have bought the car from MAUTI TRUE VALUE (Brand) and AAA is secondary so you don’t think we have cheated. Then after so long discussion, logic, request they have changed the battery named Excide Champion not as per my choice and without the knowledge of Warranty time and warranty card is still pending.
So I think there is any body read the above full story with attention and intention;
IF YES
Then I asked you some questions:
1. Do you think I am cheated from a Reputed Brand? if yes why?
2. If yes, do you thing to take necessary action against this cheating and the faulty person should be penalized?
3. Do you think my AC repairing expenses should be reimbrushed, if yes informs me the procedure immediately?
4. Do you think my other problem should be rectified with free of cost, if yes does it as early as possible?
5. Do you think after the full battery episode the battery should be replaced at my own choice if yes please take necessary action
Waiting for your reply because I am the first time buyer of a CAR with my own money earned by 9-6 hard working. Don’t make my mind full negative against MARUTI.
So I am expecting proper response and action immediately because every moment I feel I am cheated from MARUTI TRUE VALUE which is No1 brand in pre owned car business.
