Malfunctioning in the ca

I purchased an Alto car in 2007 in Pune, bearing Engine No 3405469 & Chassis No. 938251. Shiffted to Bangalore (Home town) a year ago, vehicle started giving me starting problems about 6 months ago, took it to the nearest MSIL authoried dealer 6 times (Suraksha on Hosur Road, Bangalore). Problem not resolved, in the meantime had a comprehensive servising done at same place highlighting this problem specially, paying around Rs.10K.

Again same problem faced on 20th of March, temporarily started by Aryan motors mechanic, today vehicle was left at Suraksha for rectification. They say now power distribution unit is faulty, has to be replaced by paying price of around Rs 5300/.-.

I want to know from Maruti, In what way I am responsible for this defect, is this part to be replaced peiodically? In this case why it took 6 months to know is defect? Is Maruti is taking its customer for a ride?

Again Mktg person called from MSIL for newer bigger SEDAN from them. How do I go for Maruti?
