Local motor cycle show rooms like Meenakshi Motors in Ghansoli are hoarding the Honda Activa products leading to a false demand and extremely long waiting periods.
Today morning, I was told by the sales person of Meenakshi Motors that the Honda Activa (which has an excruciating 150 days waiting with all dealers across Mumbai) is readily available if I pay up a premium of Rs 7000 over the MRP... I wonder if this is leagal... its surely not fair... the sales man even suggested that if I wanted it at the MRP then I should check with the dealers and wait endlessly...
Request you to please look into this matter. I personally have seen the waiting period go up from 30 days (last diwali) to 90 days (this holi) to 150 days now... and this is only in Maharashtra... in Bangalore and other cities it is still available in one month.
Please look into the matter.
