SERVICE PROBLEMS WITH AUTO-HANGER (MUMBAI-ANDHERI EAST)

DEAR ALL,

MY CAR MERCEDES REG NO: MH-04-BW-405, C200K 2004 DONE 13000 KMS, WAS MET WITH AN ACCIDENT ON DEC 6TH. WE IMMD DECIDED TO SEND THE CAR TO SHAMAN WHEELS AUTHORISED DELAER FOR MERCEDES BENZ HAVING CASH LESS TIE UP WITH HDFC-ERGO INSURANCE.THE TOWING FACILITY WAS ARRANGED AND THE CAR WAS READY TO MOVE ON FLAT BED TOWING TO KALINA WORKSHOP.AT THE LAST MOMENT SOME SUDDEN CHANGES AND GOOD REGARDS WITH AUTO HANGER AUTHORISED DEALER FOR MERCEDES BENZ THE CAR WAS SENT TO THEIR WORKSHOP ON DEC 7TH MORNING.

DEC 7TH

1>M/S JOHN TOWNING PROVIDING FLAT BED TOWNING SERVICES DROPPED THE CAR TO AUTO HANGER IN GOOD FAITH.

2>THE CAR WAS IMMD RECIVED BY AUTO HANGER AND PARKED IN THEIR PARKING LOT.

3>THE CAR WAS RECIVED WITHOUT PROVIDING ANY JOB CARD OR PROOF OF ACCEPT.

4>THE SERVICE ADVISORS WERE NOT AVIABLE FOR WAITING AFTER 3HOURS TO PROVIDE ASSITANCE SO WE LEFT FROM THEIR PREMISES.

DEC 8TH

1>WE AGAIN PERSONALLY WENT TO M/S AUTO HANGER TO FULFILL THEIR REQUIREMENTS AND NEEDS AS NO ONE ASSITED US ON DEC 7TH

2>WE WERE SHOCKED TO SEE THE RIGHT HAND SIDE MIRROR LENS DAMAGED AND MISPLACED FROM MY VECHICAL.

3>THE SERVICE ADVISOR FORCED US TO REPLACE WITH A NEW ONE COSTING 39500/- AT OUR COSTS.

4>SEING ALL THIS MISHBEHAVIOUR OF STAFF WE DECIDED TO SHIFT CAR TO SHAMAN WHEELS KALINA IMMD

5>TOWNING VECHICAL WAS CALLED TO SHIFT VECHICAL BUT, ON HEARING THIS AUTO HANGER STAFF PROMISED US THAT THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY SUCH COMPLAINTS AND TROUBLE FROM OUR SIDE SO THE VECHICAL WAS KEPT WITH THEM IN GOOD REGARD AND FAITH.

6>THEY DIDNT HAVE CASH LESS TIE UP WITH HDFC-ERGO BUT ON SPECIAL GROUNDS THEY ARRANGED IT FOR ME WHEN THEY CAME TO KNOW THAT VECHICAL IS GOING TO SHAMAN WHEELS KALINA.

7>ALL FORMALITIES WERE FULL FILLED AND, ALL CLAIM FORMS AND NECESSARY PAPERS WERE GIVEN.

8>WE LEFT THEIR PREMISES AND A ROUGH ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS WAS GIVEN AROUNF 500000/- FIVE LACKS.

9>DAMAGE INCLUDED BUMPER PAINTING BONNET REPLACE HEAD LIGHT REPLACE AND RADIATOR REPLACE.

10>THEY PROMISED TO RETURN CAR IN 10 WORKING DAYS.

DEC 18.

1>WE VISIT AUTO HANGER TO SEE THE POSITION OF THE CAR AND FIND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE

2>SERVICE ADVISOR HAS LOST ALL DOCUMENTS OF INSURANCE FORMS AND FORMALITIES.

3>CAR IS IN A SHABBY POSITION DUMPED IN A OPEN GROUND WITH THOUSANDS OF BIRD DROPPING AND DIRT.

4>ALL WINDOWS WERE DOWN AND THE INTERIOR LOOK AS THEY WERE BROWN IN COLOUR.

5>NO ONE WAS READY FOR COMMENTING ON THIS

6>WE ONCE AGAIN COMPLETED THE FORMALITIES AND THEY PROMISED THE WORK WILL START IMMD.

7>WE LEFT THE WORKSHOP IN GOOD FAITH

DEC 30

1>WE CALLED UP THE SERVICE ADVISOR TO FIND WHATS THE PROGRESS AND FOUND THAT THEY WERE IN A PROCESS TO ORDER PARTS

2>THEY CONFIRMED THAT NO PARTS WERE AVIABLE WITH THEM AND IN PUNE PLANT SO THEY HAD TO BE SHIPPED FROM GERMANY.

3>MINIMUM WAITING FOR PARTS WOULD BE 3 WEEKS AS CONFIRMED

4>PARTS INCLUDED SUCH AS BONNET AND HEAD LIGHTS.

JAN 14

1>WE CALLED M/S AUTO HANGER TO CONFIRM THE STATUS OF CAR AND FOUND THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN TAKEN TO KANJURG MARG FOR DENTING AND PAITING.http://inconsumercomplaints.com/bysubcategory/gas-stations.html

2>WE REQUESTED THEM FOR A VISIT THERE BECAUSE 1.5 MONTHS HAD PASSED BUT THEY CONFIRMED THAT CUSTERMERS WERE NOT ALLOWED AT THAT SERVICE CENTER AT KANJURG MARG SERVICE CENTER.

3>ONCE AGAIN IN GOOD FAITH WE WAITIED SEEMING THINGS WOULD BE DONE RIGHT AND ACCORDINGLY

4>THEIR SERVICE ADVISOR MR RUSSI BOYCE NEVER CALLED US UP REGARDING THIS CAR OR TO UPGRADE ANY STATUS.

JAN 24TH

1>A SURPRISE VISIT TO AUTO HANGER AND FOUND,

1>CAR IN A SHABBY POSITION WITH 10000 BIRD DROPPINGS AND DIRT

2>THE COLOUR FROM WHITE HAD CHANGED TO YELLOW BROWN.

3>THE INTERIOR WAS MESSED UP WITH DIRT OIL GREESE

4>PAINTING JOB WAS DONE AS IF DONE FROM A ROAD SIDE GARAGE

5>BONNENT ALIGNMENT WAS IMPROPER WATER NOZZEL GRILLE ON BONNET FOUND BROKEN PLENTY OF SCRATCHS ON THE CAR AND DICKY AS FILLED WITH BROKEN SPARES

6>ROOF TOP WAS DAMAGED WITH BROKEN TREE TRUNKS.

7>BUMPER SEMMED TO BE OUT OF ALIGNMENT.

8>BOTH L/F FENDERS SCRATCHED FROM INSIDE WHILE REPALCING BONNET.

9>MR RUSSI BOYCE WAS INSTRUCTED AND GIVEN FINAL NOTICE TO REPAIR ACCORDINGLY.

FEB 4TH.

1>SURPRISE CHECK AT AUTO HANGER AND FOUND.

2>THE CAR IN A MORE WORST POSITION THAN BEFORE.

3>NO RECTIFICATION WAS CARRIED OUT

4>INTERIOR HAD BECOME WORST

5>BODY PAINT STARTED PEELING OFF DUE TO BIRD DROPINGS.

6>TRESS LEAVES TRUCK AND DROPING OF BIRDS FOUND INSIDE THE CAR.

7>BONNENT, BUMPER, OUT OF ALIGNMENT

8>RIGHT SIDE MIRROR DAMAGED

9>BLACK WAX DROPINGS THE CAR

10>CAR LOOKED AS IF IT WAS 20 YEARS IN DUMP YARD.

11>A BILL OF 400000/- FOUR LACKS WAS GIVEN IN HAND AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR SAID CAR IS READY FOR DELIVERY.

12>WE ARE NOW SHOCKED THAT OUR CAR WHICH COSTED 33 LACKS APPROX HAS BEEN RUINED AND WILL NEVER GET IN PROPER SHAPE BECAUSE THE PAINT HAS BEEN PEELING DUE TO BIRD DROPPINGS AND TREE WAX

13>WE INFORMED THE SENIOR MANAGER MR STANLEY ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE WITH AUTO HANGER FOR THIS 2MONTHS AND LEFT THEIR PREMISES.

14>CAR IS LEFT WITH THEM

15>DURING THESE 2 MONTHS WE DIDNT GET A SINGLE CALL FROM THEIR SIDE ALL FOLLOW UPS WERE DOWN BY US PERSONALLY

16>SERVICE ADVISORS REFUSED TO EVEN ANSWER OUR PHONE CALLS.

WE ARE IN SUCH A POSITION NOW THAT DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW

KINDLY HELP US AND WARN OTHER GENIUNE CUSTERMERS THAT THEY DO NOT FALL IN THEIR TRAP AND RUIN THEIR PRESTIGIOUS CAR.
