Taxis parked unofficially outside residential societies

Hi,

Since last 2 years, I've seen many taxi drivers parking outside residential areas near my building. The taxi drivers stand near the taxi and block the road meant for walking. It is a nuisance since the road is narrow and the parked taxis take up a lot of space.

Can something be done to remove the parked taxis from my area. After all, it is not a parking stand.
