This is to bring in notice the poor services given to the customer of Maruti Suzuki. On January 1 I booked “Swift Desire VDI” (white) at My Car 3rd Floor, Commerce House, 7 Race Course Road, Indore - 452 001. The General Manager Mr. Amit committed me the delivery of the car in one and a half month and also gave me a written commitment to deliver the car in 13 to 16 weeks. He also said me that if I have some approach or a jack it can be delivered in 1 week or in 15 days. Unfortunately, I did not get any response till 31 March. When I gave a call they asked me to deposit hard cash & get the delivery. Whenever we visited the showroom to see & speak to Mr. Amit we found him busy always. On 16 April I got a call saying that if I can book Maruti ZEI (silver) instead of Maruti VDI (white) & deposit a hard cash, I can get the delivery of the car immediately. So, on 16 April I deposited a hard cash of Rs. 8 lac 14 thousand only & the receipt number is: REC 11000429. When we asked about the car they said it is in transit & they were not aware of it, so they committed the immediate delivery, so it will take a week more to deliver the car. In the meanwhile I financed Rs. 6 lac 90 thousand only from Punjab National Bank. Again on 26 April I visited the showroom & paid a hard cash of Rs. 8 lac 14 thousand only at the showroom & they promised me to deliver the car on 27 April. On 27 April I was there in the showroom sharp by 5pm & waited till 7pm. They handed over me the car in dark, out of the showroom which had a dent of about 3 to 4 inch in length, on left fender. When I asked about the same they replied me that this is the same product you booked, so, now you have to take it & it can be repaired. When I denied to take it with me, the Direct Sales Executive Shailendra Shrivastava misbehaved with me & forced me several times to take it.
It’s my humble request to the authorized person of Maruti Suzuki to take some strict action against the customer service staff, showroom staff & the sales staff who are spoiling the image of the brand & delivering a poor & unacceptable service to the consumers.
