This is regarding clutch assembly replacement under extended warrantly of my Indica car. I was told by one of the service adivisors of this TASC that the cluch assembly can be replaced at a discounted price of 3000 if the kms clocked is less than 35000 .
My car has run for 34400 kms and the car was with them for one whole day.
The service advisor did not find it necessary to ask his manager who later on confirmed that clutch assembly including clutch plate is covered under extended warrantly only upto 30000 kms.
The job card was opened by this service adivisor and estimate was given of Rs 3000 inspite of my telling him that only if it meets the criteria and claim is available then do work on the car.
The claim gets rejected which the manager already knows and then the service adivisor by that time has already opened the car even before the claims was put without confirming with the manager whether it is 30000 kms or 35000 kms
They did this on purpose since and the service advisors in the TASC are behaving as if they are running their own individual local garage.
There is nothing shown in written about the extended warrantly. The manager is not even in the loop regarding this work.
I had to pay double the amount of Rs 6000 and nothing was covered under warranty. This is utter misguidance of the customer and trying to cheat the customer.
I would like to get refund of my additional Rs 3000 which they have charged additional due to no warranty and wrongfully opening the job card inspite of the manager being confident that the claim will be rejected.
