Eluctant to replace of refund the damaged shoes

I have purchased the shoes of Rs.1099/- (Cash Memo No:88208) from the city's renowned footwear shop hollywood footwear on 08/Apr, after 4-5 wears the sole of the shoes got detached when i approached the merchant and questioned him about the quality he was so reluctant and replied "goods once sold will not be taken back its written on the bill" but said i''ll get repair them, I said i have not come for repair it's not a cobbler shop right... i have asked either replacement or refund, i'am shocked to know how openly he's cheating the innocent customer by selling the goods which are of bad quality simply by writing a few lines on the bill... more ever his bill neither have the shop's complete address nor the contact numbers... i request the concern authorities to take the appropriate action against such cheater to avoid the fellow customer being cheated... hope my plea is listened
