When i registered complaint with Cashier on discrepancies in the cash
bill, he said that there was mistake in the scanning and while price
tag is being scanned the rate of the clothing is being displayed as
1399/- instead of 999/- and hence i was charged more as there was data
mismatch between the scanning and the price written on price tag i.e
999/- (i.e the price written as 999/- but while scanning it showing as
1399/-.)
This is clearly an issue with MegaMart and hence asked to refund the
extra amount which has been charged from me and for this Megamart
people said they are unable to refund the extra money.
After going to their shop for three days continuously i was able to
get the refund of extra money.
So i advice the people who go for purchase in MegaMart stores, these
MegaMart people cheat the customer in name of discount and ultimately
customer end up paying more money as there is discrepancies between MRP
displayed in price tag and the MRP getting displayed in cash bill after
scanning.
Please advice me on how to escalate this issue further to get justice
as i was at back of them for three days to get my money back and this
has resulted in financial loss, mental agony as i was treated badly by
Megamart staff.
