I am one of the unfortunate employees working for Cegedim.
This is a company which should be avoided by persons who dont like non-technical s/w development [though they hire as Dot.net engineer but u dont get to work on DotNet, u will be working on their own framework which can be done by a 10th STD boy].There is lot of partiality and politics. Also you will be a winner if u folllow "LOOK BUSY DO NOTHING" philosphy. I recommend this company for people who dont have that much technical skills, ability and are willing to do any thing for job.
You might have already read about the NOTICE PERIOD ISSUE, I want to add some more frauds against us
1] During interview and sibsequent selection I was hired for AE Dept [here dotnet codimg happens].This dept has some 20% of the total employees.
But during joining I was Issued different offer letter and was assigned to PSI Dept [here there is 5% dotnet work..absolutely rubbish work for Developers]
2] Though probation period was 6 months they reduced it to 1 month as many people were leaving after coming to know about the nature of work. After
After probation ur notic eperiod will be more that's why this trick.
3]Since many people were quiting they increased the NOTICE PERIOD to 3 months fronm 1 month thinking that they will be able to control attrition but ironically the attrition rate increased like anything after this notice period change.
So fellas if u r not serious about ur technical skills, love politics and manager buttering, this is the safest job...
