I had purchased a COMPAQ desktop, last year 17th of January, recently on updating my system I came to know that the windows xp service pack 2, which was installed by the dealer was not a original copy of operating system.
My system is running over an duplicate copy of windows operating system which performance is not up mark.
The main problem is that the dealer is no longer present in the showroom, the showroom is locked.
I have all the document related to warranty of the computer.
What would I do to get a original copy of operating system?
