I had called the epson customer care no.18004250011 and inquired about the black cartridge for TX121 (91N Black) which costs Rs.250 inc of taxes on friday 23.09.2011
The customer care representative asked me if i wish to order a cartridge which will be delivered to my place for free.
I confirmed with him that there will be no delivery chargers for the black cartridge (91N) and placed the order.
They said it will be delivered to me within 2-3 days.
I called up on monday and then again on tuesday 27.09.2011 and spoke to operator named Rahul to enquire about my cartridge.
He gave me the number of the delhi office 910880861. Then when i called up delhi office they told me they wont deliver the cartridge for free additional Rs.100 would be charged and was very rude with his tone.
This resulted in time wastage of 3 days and a lot of inconvenience and the toll free number keep on saying they will deliver it for free and WILL TAKE YOUR ORDER WITHOUT GIVING YOU THE RIGHT INFORMATION.
AFTER SALES SERVICE of EPSON INDIA is pathetic. Hewlett Packard (HP) doesnot charge its consumers for delivering ink cartridges and their service is also very quick.
Epson would never be able to match HP service position.
